The Creech Holler band has descended again from the deep Appalachians with a set of ballads based in the traditions of bluegrass and mountain music but ground up and run through a heavy metal mill to create some of the creepiest southern gothic you’ll ever hear. Highlights for me include “Raymonf Lee,” “Darlin’ Corey,” and “When the Temptor Calls”
