Blitzen Trapper’s latest CD, Furr, builds on their previous low-fi indie-folk asthetic and adds a mix-tape mentality that often borders on Sgt. Peppers-esque pop. But underneath it all they’ve still got that country-rock vibe going for them. I enjoyed “Gold For Bread,” “Furr,” and Fire and Fast Bullets.” But the real stando out tracks for me are “Sleepy Time In The Western World,” and “War On Machines.”
