Last night I headed out to The Berkeley to see Jesse Lege, Joel Savoy, & The Cajun Country Revival, featuring Caleb Klauder. Talk about feel  good music. Nothing beats a cajun two step rythm to pick up your spirits. I maintained my usual back of the room position, recording parts of the show for an upcoming podcast. (Still trying to get permission). But the dance floor was jam-packed with people everyone in the room was having a great time.

Sadly, i was not able to catch half the song titles that Jesse Lege and Joel Savoy were playing. My ear just isn’t used to listening to those French/cajun names. But I’ll tell ya it was goo.

They sprinkled in a few tracks from Caleb Klauder’s various band incarnations including a very Hank Williams-esque song, “Hole In My Heart.”

Very fine evening. Here’s a video that will give you a taste of the music.
