Woo Hoo! This week marks the 200th weekly rotation for Taproot Radio. Good God it’s been fun and I hope to do at least another 200 shows. The thing that amazes me the most is that the good music just keeps on coming. I know it’s trendy to say stuff like “all this music today sucks” and then stomp off like an old fogey. (“And get off my lawn!”). But to tell the truth, I’m always excited to see new CDs show up in the mailbox.

This week I caught up on a huge backlog of CDs and the recently adds list is way too long to go through each and every CD for ya. But I’ll point out a couple of highlights. Some notable additions recently include Mike Zito’s latest CD Pearl River, Joey Alcorn’s (aka Hank 3.0) All Alone Again, Beth McKee’s retro-soul CD That’s The Way I Am, And Scott MacLeod’s Old School. Check them out and go buy them from your local independent music store. They need your show.

And while I’m indulging in old fogey-ism, go see a live show dammit!
