Honeyboy Edwards is one of the last pre-World War II Blues musicians and one of the last living links to Robert Johnson. But he’s a legend in his own right and this collection of his duet and small group recordings shows that his style and approach to the blues is the very definition of delta blues. Highlights from this CD include “Crawling Kingsnake,” “I Was In New Orleans Last Night,” and “Low Down Dog.”
