Howdy,

Having gorged myself on Bill Kirchens' latest CD over the past few weeks, I decided to take a chance on another rockabilly legend and bought Wanda Jackson's latest, Heart Trouble. I wasn't disappointed! She's still got it. Look for tracks from her latest CD to find their way into Taproot's rotation over the next few weeks.

The results of last week's poll rating the songs of Bob Dylan's Modern Time are in and I'm pleased to see that my favorite song on the disc "Rollin and Tumblin'" is also the favorite among Taproot listeners. See below for more details on the results. This week's poll is for the songs on Patty Griffin's CD, Children Running Through.

The May Taproot Top 10 list has been published on the web site. Both Willie Nelson and Bill Kirchen have been moving up the chart, but who will reign as number 1? :-)
